Lucinda fredericks eventing horses

The mother-and-daughter duo will be sharing their advice, tips and exercises for cross-country training at home in your arena or field. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain insight into the techniques they use that have earned consistent results at the highest levels of eventing over the years, and how to apply them to your own horses, whatever level you ride at and whatever your ambitions are.

Lucinda fredericks lesson

Lucinda retired from competitive riding in due to a knee injury and is now widely acclaimed for her teaching and training of horses and riders. She enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience to support and develop riders and horses at all levels. As well as supporting Ellie, regular clients and her team of working pupils at home, Lucinda frequently travels to teach clinics in Ireland and all over England.

She enjoyed judging at Dublin Horse Show and has also become a prominent equestrian personality on-screen, with the Team Fredericks series on Horse and Country TV in the past and, more recently, the highly acclaimed Grassroots Gazette Rider Academy series. Ellie campaigns young horses as well as those who are more established, including her project Legende P, who was a nominated entry for the Young Rider European Championships this year and was recently sold to an Olympic rider.

Ellie produces all the horses herself and has had a busy season, predominantly with young horses. She has enjoyed bringing homebred twins Upsi Britannia and Upper Class Brit up through the levels to successfully end the season with consistent results at two-star level.

On Saturday and Sunday, the line up includes Laura Collett, Ros Canter and Nicola Wilson, plus dressage with a twist — unconventional breeds such as a Clydesdale, Fell and Knapstrupper showing this discipline is suitable for all — and Oliver Townend and Geoff Billington.
