The illustration on page CCLXI b depicts skeletons in various stages of decomposition, stepping out of a tomb and dancing to the tune of a flutist on the left. Michael Wolgemut — was a German painter and printmaker who ran a large and important workshop in Nuremberg.

Woodcuts executed in Wolgemut's workshop were not necessarily created by him, personally.
